Peter Lisbygd has been working extensively with China since 2005, when he moved to Shanghai for the first time and founded China Experience. Since then, he has specialized in providing valuable knowledge and insights to companies, educational institutions, and investors about the world's new superpower.

Over the years, he has built up an in-depth understanding of Chinese conditions and in recent years with a special focus on the country's explosive development within new technologies, digital business models and green transition.

Over the years he has visited many of the leading tech firms in China. Among other things, he uses this knowledge as a private investor in Chinese stock, which is an unpredictable size that arouses both fascination and wonder among foreign investors.

Peter has given countless presentations about China and is a great communicator who manages to target the topic and engage his audience.

He has a background as a Perry Officer at the Royal Danish Navy, and more than 10 years of management experience in the Nordic travel industry before venturing into China.

Joel A. Gallo is Chief Financial Officer, ETAO International Group, an Adjunct Faculty at New York University in Shanghai and on the Board of Directors of Hywin Wealth Management – a Nasdaq listed Chinese firm. He has spent nearly 30 years in global banking/capital markets, asset/wealth management and technology.

Joel was previously Director in the Advisory practice at PwC and the Head of Investment Operations at Scudder Kemper Investments (Deutsche Bank Asset Management). He was also a senior executive at Deloitte, Dell EMC and E&Y, where he advised more than 100 global financial firms including: Bank of America, Barclays, Blackrock, Blackstone, BNP Paribas, Bridgewater, Carlyle, Cerberus, Citigroup, Fidelity, IMF, JP Morgan, Legg Mason, Morgan Stanley, UBS, The World Bank Group.

Joel is a frequent speaker at conferences and universities and has published extensively in Caixin, South China Morning Post, Ignites Asia, China-US Focus and other publications on global finance/economics, U.S./China relations and technology. His academic training includes: Columbia University, Johns Hopkins University, Tufts University, Binghamton University – State University of New York. Joel lives in Shanghai.
