Dr. Wanli Min

The power of Artificial Intelligence

Dr. Min is Former Chief Machine Intelligence Scientist at Alibaba, a member of the National Strategic Advisory Committee on Next Generation of AI and Founder and CEO of North Summit Capital and Quad Talent. He was named “One of the  World’s top AI Leaders” by Forbes and is one of the world’s leading authorities in his field.

He graduated the Special Class for Gifted Youth (SCGY) program from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1997 at the age of 19, after which he received Ph.D. in Statistics from University of Chicago in 2004.

Since then, he has worked in IBM T.J. Waston Research Centre, IBM Singapore and Google, before joining Alibaba, where he served until 2017.

He has a practical and hands-on driven approach to AI:

Previously, he led as  Deloitte Digital’s Managing Partner, and was a Global Client Service Partner, Global Markets Partner at Ernst & Young in London. He was also the Executive Creative Director for a global top 5 creative agency in Asia, and the Chief Creative Officer at a FTSE250 $4 Billion listed company in the United Kingdom.  

In his 20+ years of professional experience, he led in multiple global digital strategy and transformation projects for customer strategy, digital marketing, m-commerce, experience, data and AI. Projects included leveraging micro-services, APIs integration, business intelligence, and leveraging SaaS based digital products to optimise experience and cost base.

Tyler Wang

Managing Partner, QuadTalent Technologies (Alibaba, Huawei Technologies)

Tyler is a leading digital and cloud solution global leader and have led technical teams in many jurisdictions including many LDCs.

As a 25+ year veteran in technology, he was previously the European Managing Director for Alibaba Cloud and have deployed many new retail, smart banking solutions across the region.

Also, as the country leader for Huawei Italy, France and Global Account Leader for Hutchison; Tyler led many challenging global infrastructure projects across multiple regions and with different digital ecosystems.

Currently, Tyler is an advisor on several boards including Sky Engine, where he works very closely with them on drone technology solutions and advanced analytics. In addition, Tyler is currently leading on highly complex digital venture models which includes media, new retail and fintech solutions.

Tyler is also very active on global speaking circuit advising the strength of the blending of the Eastern and Western digital models.
